Unfortunately, eighty percent of fatal firearm incidents involving children occur in the home. Medical organizations, public health agencies, gun owners’ associations, and public safety personnel all support safe firearm storage. Georgia Stay SAFE works to reduce firearm injuries in children by promoting safe firearm storage. The Georgia Stay SAFE Activity Book is an excellent tool to help families focus on safety and talk to children and teens about gun safety and what to do if they find a gun.
